The capital of Colombia placed in the center of the country in the Sheet of the same name to 2600 meters on the level of the sea, is crossed by the river Bogota that forms(trains) to the south of the Sheet Tequendama Jump. In the Sheet we find several natural lagoons between them that of Guatavita, one of the most magic places and famous it surrounds to the city of the capital, where there is woven one of the most beautiful legends of the culture Muisca, the Legend of the Gilding. The temperature of the city is in average of 14°C but it can range between(among) 9°C and 22°C according to the season in which he(she) is. The dry seasons we can find in January, February, March and December; the rainy ones are in April, May, September, October and November. June and July they are in the habit of being few rains and in August it is of the Sun and strong winds. Nevertheless the changes in the climate are changeable due to the different phenomena that have concerned the planet in the last years. It is a city where innumerable cultural events are realized all the year round, between the most representative we find the Latin-American Festival of Theatre that is carried out in The Holy Week. It is because of it that Bogota offers to his visitors 45 theatres, 58 museums, 62 galleries of art, 161 goods of cultural interest, 95 between (among) sports, thematic parks, of amusement and natural, 40 cinemas, 28 churches of tourist interest, 132 national monuments and the most modern interactive center of science and technology Maloka, turning into an excellent destiny where culture and amusement are mixed.
